Understanding Positive and Negative Integers

Today Clara and I recorded a video teaching you how to understand positive and negative integers. I found it quite hard to explain how to do it and I enjoyed getting the question right because it's a good feeling. I was challenged when I was teaching it to you because it was quite hard to explain it in a way that's easy to understand. I could have been BTB (Better Than Before) by explaining it a little bit more. Thanks for watching it. Bye

Adding and subtracting decimals

So today Grace and I had to make a video about how to add and subtract decimals. I didn't like it that much because my voice sounds bad in this video and yeah. I liked knowing the answer was right and I disliked trying to work out the simple math cause I suck at simple math. I could have been BTB (Better Than Before) by pointing the camera to the paper a little bit more on the second addition problem but otherwise I think its pretty good.

Hottest and coldest average tempuratures

For the past week we have been looking at tempuratures. Today and yesterday we started looking at the hottest and coldest places in the world. I enjoyed making the background and I disliked getting all the information. I found it challenging to get information on Jan Mayen. Nect time to be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more information onto both of them.

Perimeter word problems

For this week's maths, we had to answer questions in our book. Up above is just an example of 3 of the questions but altogether there was 20. We had to answer questions based on kilometres, centimetres, metres and that kinda stuff. It was pretty easy but some things were really hard. I enjoyed marking it and I could be better by making it more visible. K byyeeee.

Tantalizing Transformations

This week we have been doing a slide called tantalizing transformations. It has been very hard but the hardest one was definitely Slide 7, Transformations. I enjoyed watching the Gangnam style video cause it was very funny. This was super hard and it challenged me. I bet you will be seeing a lot more posts about transforming shapes using reflection, rotation and translation. BYE... Bella is the best... Drop the mic

How to make a math quiz

How to make a math quiz

Step 1. Open your chrome book and click on google drive.
Step 2. Click on the NEW button and then click on google slides.
Step 3. Get your first slide ( it will just pop up ) and write Math quiz in the biggest box.
Step 4. Then make another slide by clicking the plus button near the top left corner and start introducing what your slide is about.
Step 5. Now you're going to need to make a link. First, click on the thing you want to link. Then press ctrl k at the same time and then press slides in this presentation. Now, you're going to want to scroll down and click on the slide that you want to link that item too. Don't forget to make more than one slides before you link that item.
Step 6. Lastly, you are going to need to put your math questions and maybe even put some more links into your math quiz.

Wiki o Matariki

We have been learning about Matariki. We have done lots of different things including making stars, doing plays, making a story map and making a thing where it looks like we are reaching out to the stars.
My favorite thing that we have done so far is the play. We get to act out different characters and run around. I was the Grandma who told the kids that a star has been stolen and that we need to find it.
