My hometown Greymouth

Here in Greymouth, we have a pretty small town. Our weather goes back and forth and we have rain and shine. Our population is only about 9,700. Mawheranui is the Maori name for Greymouth. I think my town is really special because we have a smallish town and we have lots of activities and I'm happy to say Greymouth is where I live.

  1. Hi Bella

I agree with you. We do live in a pretty cool place and are lucky to live here in Greymouth. There are so many things to do from walking tracks, Shantytown, Aquatic Centre, Cycle trail. Not to mention a trip out to Punakaiki.
My family has a bach at Punakaiki so I spend time out there in the summer so I feel really lucky. Its a beautiful place.
What is your favourite thing to do in Greymouth?
I also like to go to the movies. The movies always look better on the big screen!

Well done with your second activity. Keep it up.

    Until next time

    Allie :)
